<br />2.    Cloud Computing and Virtual Machines (VM) will continue to be targeted by cybercriminals and cyberterrorists resulting in VM malware and Cloud ‘downtime’ and Cloud ‘data theft’.&#13;<br />
<br />3.    New and Innovative Attacks will continue to grow against Critical Infrastructure by Rogue and Competitive Nations.&#13;<br />
<br />4.    Early firewall and antivirus products for Cellular phones will continue to be developed, deployed and easily circumvented throughout the year due to social engineering weaknesses of end-users and new, easily exploitable vulnerabilities in these devices.&#13;<br />
<br />5.    Exponential growth of Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) will become a top priority in government and organizations of all shapes and sizes.&#13;<br />
<br />6.    Stuxnet was just the beginning, as anti-virus vendors begin to catchup, new, more malicious and innovative zero-day malware will arrive.&#13;<br />
<br />7.    Next Generation Firewalls will start to replace older deep packet inspection NAT-based firewalls, with a focus on USER and APPLICATION layer defenses.  The bigger name firewalls will get phased out if they don’t innovate or acquire these novel solutions.&#13;<br />
<br />8.    Strategically targeted social engineering coupled with eavesdropping, keylogging and covert VPN malware will become the top means for exploiting larger targeted organization and there will be at least ½ dozen very significant breaches that make headlines, while many more actually occur.&#13;<br />
<br />9.    Growing Privacy Right Violations by Governments and their Contractors in the name of Cyber Defense will take place, even if SOPA and other internet censorship laws don’t pass.  The Anonymous hacking group will take tremendous advantage of this situation to wreak havoc against media, business and government organizations.&#13;<br />
<br />10.    Next Generation Network Access Control to solve internal security, BYOD and internal risk management issues will be a requirement in most organizations this year.</p>

<p> Senco’s JoistPro 150 and JoistPro 250 metal-connector nailers hit the market this month, aimed at giving users accuracy, speed and productivity when driving fasteners into tough substrates. <p>Bottled on 2nd February 2012, and distilled on 2nd February 1952, this whisky has matured in a Sherry cask for a full 60 years, making it one of the oldest whiskies ever released for sale. The whisky has been bottled by legendary Scottish Bottlers Gordon and Macphail.</p>

<p>The whisky is packaged in a beautiful handmade decanter, individually numbered (only 85 decanters are available worldwide), and is sure to become a collector’s item almost immediately.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Master of Malt have compiled tasting notes for the whisky, which read as follows:</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Nose: Rich malt, an apple-y freshness which belies its age. A good hit of really decent honey is followed on the tail by cinnamon and allspice.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Palate: Initially slightly mineralic – reminiscent of a well-aged Riesling, as the honey from the nose powers through again. The freshness from the nose is still here – an absolutely magnificently juicy dram. Freshly-picked cherries join the apple, but there’s no hint of them having been stewed, these are fresh as a daisy.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Finish: The official tasting notes for this make mention of the fact that this whisky bitters out towards the end. I don’t get that at all. The freshness powers through, bringing still more of that tangy, sweet goodness with it. The spices make themselves more known towards the death, with the Cinnamon and Allspice being joined by just a touch of the Clove.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Overall: An absolutely magnificent whisky. As with previous ‘very well aged’ G&amp;M bottlings, the surprise is how incredibly fresh and juicy it has remained. Were a dram of this presented to ‘her-for-whom-it-was-bottled’, we’d like to think she’d get on with it very well. Kudos, G&amp;M.</p>

<p> City Center Lehigh Valley, a major mixed-use development in downtown Allentown, Pa., announced today that the legal firm of Davison &amp; McCarthy, P.C., is the first company that will become a tenant of One City Center, the $  50 million Class A office it will soon construct on 7th Street between Hamilton and Walnut Streets. The announcement was made by Jim Harbaugh, executive vice president and COO of City Center Lehigh Valley. </p>

<p>Davison &amp; McCarthy will occupy up to 10,000 square feet of the five-story, 200,000-square-foot office and retail building that will include a 570-space underground parking garage. The firm’s 13 employees will be among up to 700-plus workers who could occupy One City Center at its opening near September 2013, around the date Allentown’s arena at 7th and Hamilton streets is scheduled to start serving as home to the Phantoms, the Philadelphia Flyers’ top minor league affiliate.</p>

<p> It&#8217;s the city of Brownsville&#8217;s one year anniversary of the controversial yet popular plastic bag ban that went into effect January 5th, 2011.  So on the city&#8217;s one year anniversary, we wanted to get an idea of how the community of Brownsville has responded to the ban by talking to community members to get their direct feedback.  </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>According to Arturo Rodriquez MPH, Public Health Director at The City of Brownsville, &#8220;Our ordinance appears to have been effective in curbing specific litter from single use plastic bags.  The retailers and citizens seem to have come together and while it’s not been all roses throughout our experience; a look at it a year later shows that we have adopted and learned to work in ways that are sustainable without sacrificing health concerns and or a convenient shopping experience.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Initially, the reason for the ban was that Brownsville had a significant litter problem, and plastic bags accounted for a large amount of the litter.  Plastic bags were being handed out to consumers in huge numbers every day.  The plastic bags would end up drifting along Brownsville streets and sidewalks, getting snagged in trees, or worse yet, clogging drainage canals and harming wildlife.  Enough residents of Brownsville, along with City Council Members, agreed the amount of litter in Brownsville needed to be addressed.  </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Understandably, once the ordinance passed, the biggest fear by consumers was that they would forget their reusable bags.  However, after a year of adjusting, with a little planning, most shoppers are remembering to bring them.  </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Marta, an Assistant Manager at the Stripes, a convenience store located on 850 Old Port Isabel Road said that most customers just carry out their items to their cars without asking for a bag, but in cases where they end up buying more than they intended, customers do purchase the reusable shopping bags available for sale.   She said that sometimes customers do bring in their own reusable bags as well.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The City of Brownsville Public Health Department has really tried to make the transition as easy as possible for their residents because they believe that a small action by each person can deliver great results for the entire community.  In fact, the kick off for the campaign began on Earth Day 2010.  On this day, the city hosted &#8220;B.Y.O.B&#8221; day, which stands for, &#8220;Bring Your Own Bag&#8221;.  The city commissioner, along with other city officials and volunteers, stood in front of HEB grocery stores and handed out free reusable grocery bags to encourage customers to begin using them and help motivate them to make an eco-friendly change. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The City of Brownsville Public Health Department web site also provides residents with great tips on how to safely clean (http://health.cob.us/cleaning-reusable-bags) their reusable grocery bags and safely use them for food handling.  One great safety tip they provide is to assign specific bags to a specific food category.  They suggest having one bag labeled Meat, Produce, Dairy, and Packaged.  For example, look for a specific personalized reusable shopping bag, color or design that will remind you that that is the ‘meat bag’.  When picking out the bag specifically for meat, make sure it is made of machine washable material (so preferably not plastic). Use another reusable shopping bag for produce to avoid using the plastic produce bags and use your &#8216;Dairy&#8217; bag for only dairy products.  </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>As far as the environmental impact the ban has had on  the community,  Beulah Mendez-Ramirez, Legal Secretary for the Public Health Department said, &#8220;I have seen a reduction in plastic bags in our highways  and freeways.  I don&#8217;t see plastic bags flying around our streets and there has been a reduction in litter.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Beulah Mendez-Ramirez also told our team that many different cities within Texas, as well as states around the nation, have turned to Brownsville for inspiration and advice as to how to move forward with their own ban.  Beulah has explained the processes Brownsville took, such as holding Environmental Advisory Committee meetings once a week and hosting Informational Workshops, to many different state officials, to pass their own ordinance.  </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The one year anniversary of the successful plastic bag ban in Brownsville, Texas has been a community wide effort for a positive environmental change and continues to lead the way for many others around the nation to follow suit.  Many city officials consider the passing of this ordinance to be one of the most important ordinances to date.  The fact that other cities and states around the nation are looking to Brownsville for advice is a testimate to their success.</p>
